OLYMPIC TORCH VISITS ST PATRICK'S

Mr Brian McAuley 

brings his Olympic Torch 

to the pupils of St Patrick's.

 Every child got to hold the Olympic Torch 

during a very special assembly

 We all had our own Olympic Torches to show Brian.

 Brian explained all about receiving the torch , 

where he ran and how he was lucky enough to be chosen as a

 torch bearer

 A BIG St Patrick's welcome

 Mrs Bennett and the school Samba Drummers 

helped welcome the Olympic Torch

 A special guard of honour 

was arranged for Brian and the Olympic Torch

Mrs Bennett with the school choir, preforming for the rest of the classes in preparation for their Three Tenors Concert in the Marketplace Theatre in Armagh.

St Pat's complete Triathlon

P6 and P7 children recently took part in the TATA KIDS OF STEEL TRIATHLON in Lisburn earlier in the month.Every child completed each of their three required sporting disciplines ,a swim followed by a bicycle ride followed with a run.The event was organised by Triathlon Ireland and the 125 pupils had a great day.Everyone returned back to Armagh with a special Triathlon medal ,T shirt and goodie bag.
